Do you own a pair(s) of Vasilis' Shoes?
Does anyone have any information about Vasilis' surviving family? I have been told that he died some time ago; but do not know the date or circumstances.
Did Vasilis' Shoe Museum that he planned to open in 1996 featuring hundreds of pairs of his own design ever come into existence? The Heraklion (Crete) newspaper PATRIS ran a story in July of 1995 concerning his planned museum. It was a two page article with many photographs. (I can supply a Xerox copy.)
Can anyone identify the Rembetika Musician posing with Vasilis in front of the Elite Shop?
